Hotel Marina - Roses

The only hiccup? The pool was colder than my ex's heart! The hotel's decor could do with a bit of a sprucing up-just saying!

We stayed for just one night, but wish it had been more, the position of the Hotel was fantastic, right on the front with beautiful views of the bay town 5-10 mins walk & on good bus route to other areas, reasonable Drink prices on Coffee Tea, Wine & Beer staff very pleasant, Breakfast excellent very good selections to suit all tastes, would go back again.

Standards of equipment and hotel in general have suffered from lack of maintenance and need a good deal of attention just to stand still. Upgrading of utilitie systems ie Hot water are urgently needed during peak use times. Can give specifics if required.

Front-facing rooms provide a fabulous view of the bay, especially during sunset.

Noise from the nearby roundabout can be distracting. The mattress in the room had springs poking through, leading to an uncomfortable first night, although they did provide a different one for later. The roof terrace and pool area are in need of serious upkeep, and the sunbeds looked shabby. The hotel feels tired, with amenities that could use a substantial refresh.

The bedroom with sea view balcony was very good as was the breakfast.The location of the hotel was ideal, close to the sea, tourist information centre and buses.

Staying at marina was a delight. The hotel's location is right on the beach. The rooftop pool and bar area are excellent. Breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety that fueled our adventures. Plus, the staff were really attentive.

Room rate included buffet breakfast. Hotel ideal location for bus stops and close to restaurants, shops & beach.

Private parking was available onsite. Honestly nothing too much trouble.

The location is unbeatable, right across from the beach and in the heart of everything. The spacious apartment offered amazing views from the balcony. While the rooftop sun deck is lovely, the sunbeds needed maintenance and cleaning. Some areas felt somewhat outdated despite the refurbishment, which diminished the overall experience. The breakfast was decent but could benefit from more variety.

The staff were very helpful and polite, The hotel was very close to the beach, the rooms were comfortable and clean. I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was very good!

Everything was good and very good value all round.

A nice size room and really good facilities. Very good services, including sauna. A gym available for guests too.

Good location and value.

A beautiful hotel located right across the street from the beach. English is spoken. The breakfast (included) was exceptionally good. This one is a real "find."

We had an excellent view of the bay from the balcony. The furniture in the bedroom was plain but adequate and the bed had a good comfortable mattress. The bathroom was a good size and there was plenty of hot water for the shower and the bath. The staff were friendly and some of them spoke very good English and French. We found the car park easily and liked the way that access could be gained directly from the hotel. There was a good variety of food for breakfast. We noticed that there was gluten free cereal available and also soya milk. (We have friends who would appreciate this provision.

Unfortunately, the bedside lights were not independently operated. The bathroom lacked a large enough shelf so there was no room for sponge bags. (A common problem in many hotels.)
